This is something I’ve gone back and forth on a lot and I think I’ve finally settled on my personal opinion, but I’m interested in hearing others. What do you think?

Its a pain of a choice because anything between Seasons 2 and 7 are difficult to separate, but I voted for 3. The way it combines relatable characters/plots and absurdity is really something. (Homer At The Bat is practically a textbook in how to achieve this.)
I actually came to the same conclusion you did. They just start off so strong with “Stark Raving Dad” and stay so solid. It has some of the strongest emotional episodes for me with “Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington”, “Lisa the Greek” and “Separate Vocations”, plus some of the funniest with “Homer at Bat” and “Black Widower.” It’s amazing how many moments pack in satire, character work, plot development and humor. “I got money. I invested in pepper spray right before society crumbled.”

Pretty difficult, especially the seasons up to the 9th one. I chose season 4, a mix of humor and depth.
Definitely a good choice. I mean, it has “A Streetcar Named Marge” AND “Marge vs. the Monorail.”
which fucking idiots are voting for 23? o_0
I’m sure it’s just some smart ass being ironic. At least I hope so. Dear God, do I hope so.
